The secret to happiness is positivity.
But you don’t need to spend thousands of hours sitting in lotus, going to expensive therapists, or buying new things to get it.
What you need is to reset your default mindset for POSITIVITY.
If you’ve struggled to stay positive and “see the bright side,” you might feel like you’re doomed to spend the rest of your life feeling unhappy, sad or even hopeless.
It’s even more difficult right now when the world seems to have gone completely out of control and we can’t see where it’s going.
Maybe you’ve gone through personal ups and downs throughout your life, but lately, it’s harder and harder to shake off sadness or gloom every time you go through it.
Even worse…
… you feel stuck in your life and you start thinking “Oh, what’s the use of even trying?”
Persistence is the key.
It can also be the hard part because we try to do too much, too fast and expect things to change instantly.
Instead, what I learned was to do very small, very doable, achievable things each day. You might think, “But do such small things make a difference?”
Yes!
First, just accomplishing even a tiny step is encouraging. It will want to make you feel that success again.
Second, it’s so simple that most of the time it doesn’t feel hard or like work.
That, I discovered, was how I kept persisting. I made it simple, easy and something that I could DO.
Here’s what a positive outlook will NOT do for you:
Here’s what it WILL do for you:
I call this the Golden Spiral of Positivity!
Again, the most important discovery I’ve learned is that rebooting your attitude and reprogramming your thoughts for positivity is not nearly as hard as you think — in fact, it’s almost easy — IF YOU KNOW THE TECHNIQUES and STRATEGIES that forward-thinking, positive people have used, often subconsciously.
I want to show you exactly how to do this.
I used these proven strategies on myself to turn my life around from divorced, overweight, in debt, and thinking I would never be happy again to become a four-time author (one of the books hit #1 in 12 countries!), a super-fit senior athlete, and a world traveler (I can’t wait to be able to go places again).
Are you ready?
Ready to see yourself in a positive light?
Ready to see a life full of possibility?
Ready to discover the positive and the good within yourself?
What is mindset if you don’t know? It’s the way you look at the world and everything in it. It’s how your mind (your brain) processes your current situation. It’s how you look at things, your environment, and your very own life.
Surely there will be times that aren’t all rosy, and cheerful. Times of death and destruction and great loss - not just to buildings and things - but great loss of life. Unbearable loss where we think we just cannot go on another day, another hour, or another minute.
In those times it’s especially important to maintain a good mindset. One way to do so is to remember these things:
This too shall pass.
It’s part of learning a lesson.
God never gives you more than you can handle.
At these times, it’s important to look for Hope. Look for Gratitude and express these thoughts to others.
