Many of us grew up being indoctrinated with the “truths” about money, such as:

-Money is hard to come by.

-Rich people are bad or greedy.

-Nothing good comes from money.

-I don’t deserve money.

-I will never have any money.

As we matured, our thoughts about it seemed to change. We realized we could have money if we got a job and worked hard. We got to know some “rich” people and found them to be neither selfish nor greedy. Hopefully, we updated our beliefs about money and adopted our own beliefs. But on the whole, there is still much to learn about our perspective of money.

I challenge you to make room for the possibility that you can have all the money you desire and that it’s okay to want it. You are not being selfish or unrealistic to want money, think you deserve it, or that it is possible to have it.

Think about this: desiring money is not being greedy because money has no intrinsic value except what you can do with it. It’s nothing more than a form of exchange - a tool for bartering.

Money can be exchanged for clothes, a home, food, and other tangible things, but it can also buy you time, relaxation, and pleasure. It can improve your quality of life by removing stress. (I am thinking of all those household chores you could hire someone to do!)

Money can help others. It’s not just the wealthy philanthropist that donates funds to worthwhile causes. Everyday people with modest incomes step forward to help others in need. Just think about the good you could do in your own community if you donated funds to a worthwhile non-profit. Think about the difference you’d make in the lives of other people.

Each of us is worthy of money, not just for ourselves, but for what we can accomplish with it and how it can benefit others. Instead of thinking of money as a limited resource, what if we think of it as a vibrant, flowing energy, which is passed around from person to person to accomplish good? Having it wouldn’t be selfish or greedy because we’d use it and pass it along to others.

The world would be a better place if we all adopted these perspectives about money:

-Money is just a method of exchange.

-Money is good.

-I am worthy of money.

-I can have the money I desire.

-Money flows. The more it’s used, the more good it can do.

-Money can make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Start to think of money as a living entity that serves a useful purpose in society. Treat it as such and your life and the lives of those around you will change for the better.

Time at sea makes me ponder

What lies ahead out yonder.

Will it be joyous or full of sorrow?

Will I be happy again tomorrow?

I’ll not worry and just let it pass,

For my days are numbered, not meant to last.

Why not enjoy the time at sea

And just let life happen naturally?

Someday it will all come to pass

As I breathe my last.

Days are not measured by gold and mirth,

But rather by the growth that’s occurred.

Be well. Be wise my little child.

Enjoy your time all the while.

In due time, we’ll meet again.

You’ll be in my arms with just a grin.

Satisfaction will beam in both our eyes.

It’s only then that you’ll realize,

Life itself is really paradise.

We all have a destiny

But what will it be?

Yours is up to you and

Mine is up to me.

Make it grand. Make it great.

It’s up to you to do what it takes.

Your wish is your command,

Just write it down in the sand.

God, the Universe, will make it so.

Just do your part and let it go.

For when we are in heavenly flow,

All our wishes turn to gold.

Enjoy your journey for in a flash,

It will be gone, part of the past.

Then like sands of the sea,

You’ll return once again to me.

Wishes and dreams are yours to make,

Just remember to do whatever it takes.

Learn and grow along the way,

No matter what others might say.

It’s your journey and by and by

They’ll come to understand the reasons why.

And don’t forget dears,

To enjoy the ride!

The purpose of money may not be what you think! I received the following guidance during my prayer/meditation time this summer.

Purpose #1 — To help us live the life we imagined! The reason is because without money it would be more difficult to manifest our dreams in this dimension. Money is not a bad thing. Remember, everything is energy, so tapping into the “money” field and attracting it to you will help one live their best life. Worrying about money causes the energy to money to deflect, keeping it further away from us.

Purpose #2 — To help us carry out our mission. It is the same with our missions. Money is a necessity to carry out most, if not all, missions in the earthly plane. Treat it wisely with love and concern and it will assist in your mission. Taunt it and focus on the lack of it and you’ll continue to get more of the same. I was reminded to think bigger. One’s mindset about the value of their offerings is key.

Purpose #3 — To teach us lessons. Your consciousness needs uplifting as do most if not all beings currently on the planet. For if they were already lifted, they would no longer be here and need to learn the lessons.

Summary — Eventually, as we grow as spiritual beings and learn the lessons, money as we know it will no longer be needed. (I was informed earlier that someday we will all learn how to manifest whatever we need or want, so the exchange of money will no longer be necessary.)

Humankind is on a mission — one to help each other lift consciousness to another level. Some know this now and are assisting. Others do not know this, yet they are assisting in their own way. By this we mean they exemplify the lessons in their daily life already without the assistance of a daily spiritual practice. Others have no clue and therefore need the help of everyone else — to serve as examples and to serve as teachers, even if it is at a peripheral level.

We all must learn so we all can advance.

Namaste. We send love and guidance. Your guides, All That Is, and the heavenly Jesus Christ.

This is not the first time my guides have discussed Money, but this time, the Purpose of Money was made clear. I hope you find this helpful.

We all tell lies. It’s the reasons behind the Lies that get us in trouble and lead to Trepidation.

Trepidation is the cause of much misery and pain, for it is the consequence of abusing the truth for personal gain.

Take this example: A farmer raises his crop or sheep, whatever the product, it doesn’t matter. When he goes to market he lies about the value of the item, by inflating its qualities. Later, the buyers realize they were duped and complain. He ignores their complaints and refuses to compensate them, so they spread the word (truthfully) about what happened.

In a matter of time, the farmer is destitute because no one will buy from him.

This scenario depicts the consequence of lying and the Trepidation that will follow if one chooses this path.  It is much better my friends, to be truthful from the beginning than to reap the later rewards (or consequences.)

This lesson, when learned, will help one evolve as a better being.

Rainbows are considered God’s gift to us, a little boost of happiness, as it were. The reason is two-fold.

Number one, a Rainbow only exists under a special set of circumstances: rain and sunshine. These two features seldom show up on the same day, so it’s a special occasion when they do.

Secondly, Rainbows are here to show that brighter days are coming, even when we are experiencing dark days. It’s amazing how just looking at a Rainbow can put joy back into our heart. It’s like a pitcher that just filled you with precious holy water! A smile returns to your face, your worries are washed away or cleared away and you can see the light – the goodness in life again.

Yes, Rainbows are here to show God’s promise of better days to come, giving us hope, joy and love along the sometimes-treacherous path of life.

When you are feeling down and desperate, ask God to give you a Rainbow and he will bless you with this special favor.

Remember, all you need to do is ask.

Why do things happen

Just as they do?

Don’t you ever wonder –

What makes it true?

Perhaps choices made

When we were young.

Maye it’s not the outcome

For which we longed.

Ne’ver the reason,

This point is true.

God knew the reason

Greater than you.

Learn to rejoice

In the path you’re on.

For it’s the one meant

To be all along.

We know not our days

Scribbled in sand.

Till the day we realize

It’s all in His hands.

Want to experience monumental personal growth without years on the therapist’s couch? Then spend quiet time each day reflecting on your daily interactions with others in the third person.

Pretend you’re a fly on the wall or an unbiased observer. How did that recent interaction with your family member or co-worker go? If it wasn’t the way you’d like, then it’s time for a third-party observation.

  • Were your words sincere and kind or marred with sarcasm or guilt? Could there have been a better way to get your point across?
  • How were your listening skills? Did you interrupt the other person before they finished their explanation? Or did you listen intently, putting yourself in their shoes before preparing a response?
  • What could you have done differently? What words would have been better left unsaid? How could you have been more loving and understanding?

The answers to these questions will give you guidance to use in future interactions so you can build an atmosphere of trust with this person versus feelings of disgust, ambivalence or hate.

You see, the power of positive relationships is within each of us already. We just need to tap into our third person persona and observe how it all takes place.  Then, accept our shortcomings as well as the other person’s and try again next time.

This is how we learn and grow. This is how we evolve. All that’s required is our best.

This is how God designed our lives as human beings.

This is yet another example of how we are all connected.

Quiet times,
Best of times.
Feeling each other.
So sublime.
Never did I think,
It could be like this.
Now I know
Such a place does exist.
True happiness can be found.
It’s in your arms, tender and true.
Where you know me
And I know you.
Together forever
We’ll always be.
In each other’s arms
For eternity.
Now rest my child
For by and by,
The rest of your life
Will be on high.
You’ve traveled the roads
Marked by God.
Met your match
And felt his love.

Wild and wondrous ocean,

Your ebb and flow calm me.

Just a walk on the beach

And I’m renewed and free.

As I go along the shore,

Please continue the pace

For your touch feels

Like a warm embrace.

Why is it so?

What causes this?

It’s because we’re all One

With All That Is.

Remember each time

You walk on my shores.

You’ll be cleansed

With each wave that roars.

Walk my shores often.

Feel my loving embrace.

You’ll be renewed

And in a new place.
