A Different Kind of Connection

When I recently shared with my 92-year-old mom that I had “connected” in the soul realm with my dog and learned some key insights, she was intrigued. This was a big switch from her previous avoidance attitude when I first came out of the spiritual closet with my mediumship abilities. She even asked me to connect to her dog, Charlie 3, her most current companion. As you might surmise, he was proceeded by two Charlies – a keen way to remember your dogs’ names. If you have ever wondered what your dog thinks of you and their purpose, this conversation will tug at your heartstrings. Enjoy this tender bit of enlightenment.  It even made my mother cry!

The Purpose of Dogs – A Soul Connection with Charlie 3

Janie J, Soul Connector: “Charlie are you here?”

Charlie: “Yep, what do you want?”

JJ: “Your owner Peggy loves you very much. Do you know that?”

Charlie: “Yes, I do. I love her too! I’m devoted to her. I am her protector and confidant. Did you know she talks to me all the time, like a person? I bark ‘cause that’s all I can do, except maybe whine a little. She understands me and loves me. She takes good care of me ‘cause I can’t take care of myself, ‘cause, you know, I’m a dog. Sometimes she tells me the funniest things. Like don’t do that or come here. Sometimes she talks about other people I don’t know. But I listen. Sometimes she’s sad or lonely, so I cuddle up with her. She’s a good cuddler.”

“She always looks out for me to be sure I’m safe and don’t get hurt. Sometimes she a worry wart. Sometimes she cries and says, ‘what will I do without you?’ But please tell her I am not going anywhere. I’ll be with her as long as she’s here on Earth. Rest assured I’ll be with you my sweet Momma. When you leave, I’ll be with you too. Then I’ll be with you and Bob (her deceased husband) and the other Charlies. One big family. Lots of tail wagging!”

“You see, our job as a companion dog is to help those here on Earth so they still have meaning in life and to provide comfort that humans cannot always give. Our love is unconditional. Humans sometimes find that hard to do. Don’t fret sweet one, I’ll always be by your side. Love Charlie 3, The ‘Best Charlie’ he he.”
